This handmade rakhi is made with a ceramic medallion and cotton threads.

The ceramic piece is handmade in our studio from the scratch. The twig impression is taken on the ceramic piece when the clay is wet and then the piece is fired in the kiln twice, second time with the glaze reaching temeperatures of 1240 celcius. 
 
Once the ceramic piece is out of the kiln, the rakhi is then finished by using cotton threads and other accesories.
