These Jugnu earrings are inspired from the cheerful, light and sparkling character of a Jugnu (firefly). The clay is handbuilt and then cut into a U shaped pieces and then fired three times to get the final look. The piece is further embellished with brass ghongroos to give it a final chic look.

The earrings comprise of ceramic pieces made in my Studio itself. The piece goes through 2 rounds of firing before the 22 Carat gold work is done on it. The piece is then fired in the kiln which makes the gold permanent on the piece, something that can't be removed with water soap or any known chemical.

The fittings used in the jewlery are all nickel free, hypoallergenic brass so it does not cause any allergies.

Note: This ceramic piece has been completely made by hand so there maybe vairations in the final pieces from the photograph
