The Peony plates are hand painted with underglazes and further and applied with Ginni's special glaze recipe. The whole concept is inspired from Ginni's love for watercolors and handmade paper. She has strived and succeeded to get the same effect on a very different medium of ceramics.
 
These plates are completely functional and one can use them either functionally to serve food or decocatively as well.
 
This beautiful Peony Plate also makes for a wonderful mantel piece on a nice wooden stand and are perfect as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries or housewarming parties. These plates are definitely one of my best ‘must have’ pieces of all. 
 
The piece has been made from the scratch in our Studio and is fired twice, the second time  at 1240 Centigrade.
